Paul Sylvester(owner of Sweet Lorraines nightclub, Judge Ron Sholes,Matt Dillon, me and Irvin Mayfield Saturday night at Sweet Lorraines Club. It was Matt’s big birthday! I was commissioned to make the glass award for Judge Sholes honoring his longtime contribution to the community. The award is a one of a kind silver crystal glass oblong bowl, a glass gavel and glass musical notes! Judge Sholes is holding it! There was a huge number of guest musicians – everyone loves Matt- including Kermit Ruffins, Irvin Mayfield of course, Wynton Marsalis and the birthday boy himself, Matt! Incredible evening! I was thrilled to have been a part of it. Happy birthday Matt!
